Bowling Green KY Engagement Photos | Emily + Kenneth

I seriously had so much fun with Emily and Kenneth.  They are such a great couple and you can really tell how much they are in love!  We went all over Bowling Green taking pictures.

We started out at Western Kentucky University where I love shooting.  I shoot at WKU all the time, but always love trying to find new areas on campus that I haven’t used or different angles that show off the beauty of the campus.

Kenneth works at Chick Fil a in town, which is where they first met.  They decided to have a little Chick Fil a picnic.:)

We finished up day one with a beautiful sunset!

Day 2 started back where we left off.  We tried a few different things that I’ve never done.  This photo was one of them.  I love the way it turned out.

We finished the day at a cool bridge on Old Richardsville Rd.

I had such a great time with these two!  I can’t wait for their wedding next year!!

Bowling Green Wedding Photography | Ashley + Derek

The setting for Ashley and Derek’s wedding was simple and beautiful.  I had some a great time with these two and absolutely loved capturing such a beautiful wedding.

Ashley and Derek chose to see each other before their ceremony in a beautiful “first look” that is probably one of my favorite things to photograph during a wedding.  It always makes the day go by so much smoother and gives us more time to take more photos.

Ashley and Derek, thank you both so much for allowing me to photograph your special day!  I wish both of you many, many years of happiness!!

Thanks to all the wonderful vendors that made Ashley and Derek’s special day possible.  Also a special thanks to Melissa Driver for second shooting with me!

Josh You did such a nice job capturing the moments and using the light. It didn’t hurt to have such a great background and color scheme. I especially like the boots and flowers. Of course all of the Derek and Ashley pictures are great.

Bowling Green Wedding Photography | Sarah Beth + Peter

Two weeks ago I had the honor of photographing a wedding for not just an amazing couple, but two amazing friends!  Oddly enough I actually met Peter and Sarah Beth the night they were engaged.  While I was hanging out with two other mutual friends Peter and Sarah Beth stopped by to tell them the big news.  So there I was not having any idea who these people were and feeling quite awkward.  But after some convincing Peter and Sarah Beth put their trust in me to capture their amazing day.

We started out at Friendz Salon with the amazing work of Carli Cornell and then headed to our beautiful location at First Baptist Church, Bowling Green, KY.

Weddings are always special and amazing to experience, but to watch two of my good friends go through this process was very moving.  Being the one to capture their special day is such an amazing honor and I’m so happy that I met them.  I know that they will have  a beautiful life together!!
